radSLIDE - A really great Wordpress Slideshow Plugin made by Radical Designs
Radical Designs has been supporting the open source CMS Wordpress for almost 5 years now and all along we've been benefitting from the amazing open source community that creates and contributes to the Wordpress Plugins Directory. We're excited to finally having something we think is worth giving back and last week we contributed our first plugin to the Wordpress Plugins Directory - A really amazing javascript slideshow plugin we've dubbed "radSLIDE".
As Wordpress has grown up from the early blogging platform we loved, we've been working hard to be able to offer its easy to use, affordable and simple to maintain features to our clients building websites for their organizations and campaigns. Along the way we've built a lot of features for menu's, navigation and administration. The most commonly requested and seemingly least supported by existing plugins was a simple way for folks to update and maintain a homepage slideshow. So we've created radSLIDE as a way for folks with a little HTML/CSS knowledge to setup a slideshow that anyone can maintain.
radSLIDE includes:
- Support for multiple slideshows
- Adding slideshows to your pages and posts with a token
- Adding slideshows to your template with PHP
- Ability to use any jQuery Cycle Plugin options
